Cooperation between Museum of Genocide Victims and various institutions of Serbian Orthodox Church was once more confirmed by the invitation of Jasenovac Committee addressed to Dr. Veljko Đurić Mišina, director of Museum, in order for him to attend the session at Monastery of St. John the Baptist, in Jasenovac.
Session started with Holy archpriest liturgy, which was followed by the working part of the session. At the beggining, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Slavonia, president of Jasenovac Committee, presented main activites of the Committee so far; presentation of His Grace was followed by discussion about plans for the next period and by conclusions on future joint activities for the following year.
One of the topics at the session was the cooperation between Museum and Jasenovac Committee, especially the exhibition in London at St. John’s Notting Hill Church, from November 22, as an example of good practice which should be model for the joint activities in the future.
